Phoenix Public Library launches a new website

The Phoenix Public Library today launched a new website for public preview. This website has been in development for over a year and uses search software from Endeca (the same software that powers websites for Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, and Walmart). There are many cool features including improvements in speed of searching, and access the catalog, but also tabbed navigation, sorting, built in spell correction, a “Did you mean?” feature, integrated library account features and RSS options for searches, calendar of events and library card updates.

Check it out if you get a chance and tell us what you think.
